Ann Barrett has taught for the Michigan Conference since she received her Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education from Andrews University in 1997. She has served as a principal since 2004 and began teaching at Adelphian Junior Academy in 2013. Mrs. Barrett has spent nearly her entire life in the Adventist classroom as both a student and a teacher. She fell in love with school while attending Battle Creek Academy for grades K-9, and by the time she graduated from Andrews Academy, she felt that God was calling her to continue her time in the classroom as a teacher. She completed her Masters Degree in Curriculum and Instruction in 2002 and was commissioned by the Michigan Conference in 2005. Mrs. Barrett enjoys sharing her love for Jesus with her students and is eagerly looking forward to meeting them at the tree of life in Heaven. Her favorite subject is math. She loves spending time with her husband Dan, traveling, camping, and kayaking.
