Mission Statement
Adelphian Junior Academy represents a community of Seventh-day Adventist Christians committed to educating children in the finest traditions of our faith. It is our purpose to operate a school that offers students a quality, Christ-centered academic program in a safe, nurturing environment. We are motivated by our desire to transmit to our children the Seventh-day Adventist Christian culture and values, and to raise them in the context of the Seventh-day Adventist Christian Heritage. We are committed to providing the security of Christian schooling to families of all races and religions, and pledge equal and fair treatment to all children attending our school.

We offer our families a school environment that is designed to stimulate the intellect, promote wholesome social values, promote physical development, and legitimize the Christian ethic and spirituality in the entire curriculum. It is our design to provide for students a secure place in which to develop latent talents and abilities under the guidance of professionals committed to the Seventh-day Adventist cultural heritage and motivated by their love for the service of God through their service to children and community.

It is our intent to help students develop into servant-leaders who are competent, skilled, and dedicated to the service of God through their service to their Church and community. The eternal salvation of our children is our ultimate desire.

We are a community that is dedicated to the preservation of the dignity of each individual who is part of this school family and one that is pledged to carrying out individual responsibilities to make this partnership in Christian education a success.

Our Philosophy
Adelphian Junior Academy is operated by the Seventh-day Adventist Church to provide a spiritually oriented education for children. A belief in the existence of the Creator God is fundamental in the philosophy of Seventh-day Adventist schools. We respect His divine authority and recognize His intervention in human affairs. We believe that true education develops the spiritual, mental, and physical powers of each student; preparing them for the joy of service in this life and for the higher joy of service in the life to come. To achieve this goal, we encourage each student to:
  • develop a personal relationship with God and his fellow men as stated in Matthew 2:37-39
  • master the basic academic skills
  • value labor: both physical and mental
  • cultivate physical fitness, mental ability, and moral purity as the blessing God intended.

Adelphian Junior Academy operates in harmony with the guidance and direction of the Office of Education, North American Division of the Seventh-day Adventist Church.
