Welcome to the 5-8 classroom!
We have a busy schedule in our classroom, but we wouldn't have it any other way.
We start off the day with worship. On Tuesdays we have outreach worship where we make cards or do an activity to help others. If you have someone you would like our class to help or send a message to, please contact me. We would love to hear from you. Each Wednesday a student will present the worship, so be prepared to help your child if it is their turn. If you would like to know when your child is having worship, I have a schedule made. Just come and see me!
English, reading, spelling, and handwriting are all being done through the new and exciting Pathways program. You will notice many things have changed, but I think the students will appreciate, enjoy, and learn from the new way of doing things. Please let me know if you have any questions along the way.
In social studies, we are studying ancient civilizations, the Medieval times, Africa, and Asia and the Pacific. There will be a different book for each quarter.
As always, we invite Christ into all of our classes, and your prayers are always appreciated. If you have any questions regarding your child's progress, please feel free to see me after school, call me, or e-mail me.
